Dear Sam,

incredible, incredible updates! I haven't been here since the end of October, so I've missed these last few posts. But honestly, very nice stuff, very sophisticated! Sorry I haven't kept in touch.

this is pretty much the most badass cowboy I've ever seen anyone do. I know this guy Nick, I think you'd really hit it off.

Wow Sam! The character is really great!! Nice drawing, nice textures and nice lines!

I'm just not convinced by the background... (with the clouds)
I think it's too sweet and technically not as strong as the character.
But that's just my opinion... :-)

Nick - I miss you. Thanks for letting me know I leveled.

Ken - I was actually thinking about some work you did before I started drawing this guy, so thanks for the comment! I have a piece or two of yours saved in a reference folder that I was going through while solidifying my idea for the design.

Robin - I hear deidra died in a snow squall. It's your fault.

Andrew - Would you go as far as to say... the ultimate badass?

Genevieve - Glad you like the character! I won't lie, he was done at work in between drawing layouts for a week solid, so the poor background might have been my subconscious attempt to avoid locations ;) No excuses though, the next one will be better!

Bobby - Thanks for stopping by! Hope things are going well with your classes.

Myke - Drop me an email and let me know how life's treating you, okay?

Again, thanks guys! The comments are really appreciated :)
